Weruva Donates Over 22,000 Meals to The Cat House on the Kings Sanctuary

Last month, the Weruva team had the incredible opportunity to visit The Cat House on the Kings in California. We were there to deliver over 22,000 meals to support this amazing cat sanctuary.

The Cat House on the Kings is California’s largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime care cat sanctuary and adoption center. It's run by a full-time team of about 45 people, including veterinarians and vet techs who dedicate their lives to the cats’ care. The sanctuary is home to over 700 adult cats and 300 kittens, and goes through more than 1,000 cans of food daily! Their work includes:

  • Providing a safe, no-cage home for feral and abandoned cats in California’s Central Valley.
  • Facilitating adoptions for cats, dogs, and other rescued animals.
  • Educating the public on ways to improve animal welfare.
  • Offering low-cost spay and neuter referrals.

You can learn more about their mission here.

About The Cat House on the Kings

Situated on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, CA. The cats who call this sanctuary home live their lives cage-free.

Donations Raised at CatCon

At CatCon 2025, visitors to our booth helped raise enough donations to provide over 22,000 meals to the sanctuary. Delivering these meals in person gave us a real sense of the scale of the sanctuary’s daily needs and how much this support matters.
