Feeding Guidelines

Feed your adult cat 1-3 cups per 4-8 lbs of body weight per day. Feed kittens up to twice the adult amount. For pregnant or nursing adult cats, we recommend free choice feeding. Pregnant cats may need 50% more food. Nursing cats may need up to three times these amounts. Adjust amounts accordingly and always provide fresh clean water. Refrigerate any unused portions.

Transitioning

Despite how much your feline friends ask for Weruva's high-quality foods, it's best to transition them gradually over a week. Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current diet and slowly increase the amount over 7 days. This will help your cat adjust comfortably to the change.

Love the food…not the supplier

I’ve been feeding my cat Cat Person since before they sold to Weruva. I did a lot of research when looking for high water cat food and Cat Person checked all the boxes. My cat LOVES this food! However, since they were sold, there have been multiple issues. I’ve lost count the amount of times the food is sold out and received an email letting me know none of the food is available. Not to mention finding bones in the fish, to which I basically got brushed off by customer support, “that size of bone is fine if your cat eats that.” My vet says otherwise. Hope they resolve these issues soon otherwise I will be canceling my auto-delivery.

I left a similar review on the cat person salmon and tuna recipe for this food. This one is a step up though because my cat prefers chicken over anything!!

Packaging is great! My cat loves it. I purchased the covers for the containers so storage and cleanup is a breeze!

I gave this particular product a five just because my cat will eat it. She is older, finicky and changes her mind from day-to-day. I sometimes have to use this product and mix it in with the prescription food so she will eat it.

My cat is a very picky eater, but she never refuses the Chicken & Duck shreds. She also loves the Chicken & Duck pate, but the shreds are her favorite! She cleans her bowl every time.

Product may have quality ingredients but the cooking process leaves a skin that is not appreciated by some cats (just FYI).
Not relevant in my case since my indoor cats wouldn't touch this stuff at all. The stray eats it well enough. Too bad there isn't a sample program. Oh well, expensive food for the stray kitty.

My 7 year old cat loves this food. Her coat quality, skin moisture and weight management as well as activity level have greatly improved since she has been eating the varieties from Cat Person, now Weruva. Chicken and Duck shreds with broth is her favorite of all.
