Feeding Guidelines

For adult cats, feed ¼–½ cup per day for cats weighing 4–8 lbs, ½–⅔ cup per day for 9–14 lbs, ⅔–1 cup per day for 14–20 lbs, and 1 cup per day for cats over 20 lbs. For kittens, feed ⅓ cup per day from 0–8 weeks, ½ cup per day from 9–24 weeks, and ½ cup per day from 25–40 weeks. Pregnant cats may need up to double the adult feeding amount, while nursing cats may require up to four times the amount. Adjust feeding as necessary, and always provide fresh, clean water. Measurements are based on standard US cups.

Transitioning

Despite how much your feline friends ask for Weruva's high-quality foods, it's best to transition them gradually over a week. Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current diet and slowly increase the amount over 7 days. This will help your cat adjust comfortably to the change.

This cat food is the only kind my Millea will eat. It is expensive but they use very good ingredients.

Both kitties loved it! I'm feeding it to them as a treat for now. I originally ordered it because the Chicken & Turkey was not not available & I wanted the same brand food but a diff flavor to mix with the remainder of the Chicken & Turkey that I had on hand so the transition wasn't a shock to their little digestive systems. I've since been able to get my full recurring order of the Chicken & Turkey (thank goodness!!). So we'll continue to give them the salmon & Tuna as supplemental treats.

My cats will only eat this dry food. After researching, these ingredients are the best and healthiest for them.

Can this be fed to a cat with renal failure? My cat is extremely picky and refuses to eat his prescription diet. Would this be something we could possibly try?

New formula..

The old formula had jerkie bits that added a meaty smell to it (and I'm sure enhanced the flavor). The new formula smells more like pea protein and has "dried egg" instead of "chicken fat, natural flavors and cane molasses" in the ingredients list. My cats still seem to like it. Hopefully it's still has the same nutritional effects. My cats have been very healthy so far with Cat Person Dry food being a staple of their daily meals.

They like it but they prefer the old formula

My cat Faith loves this dry fiid. Previously there were dried bits of salmon or tuna included but there but not anymore. It gave the food that extra bit of flavor and smelled good too. Tye chicken and Turkey used to have the dried Jersey type bits too. Faith still likes them both but would have given it extra stars if the jerky bits were still included. \n\nIt made the food taste special and extra flavorful.
