We took Chance in after he’d been abandoned, and almost immediately, we noticed something wasn’t right. He had strange reactions that looked like hairballs but didn’t quite sound the same. At first, we chalked it up to normal kitten behavior, but as time went on, things got worse.
Every time we tried to put him on sensitive stomach or hairball formulas, he would throw up almost immediately. It wasn’t just food sensitivity. It became a serious quality of life issue. He was lethargic, red-eyed, had constant asthma attacks, and even started snoring with his mouth open. His breath was awful, and he just didn’t seem like a happy cat.
I knew deep down this wasn’t hairballs. I finally caught one of his episodes on video, and that started our real journey. I had no idea cats could have food allergies or asthma. What?!
Things started to turn around in the most unexpected way. I volunteer with a rescue group called Pink Paws, and they had donated a few cans of Weruva to me to help feed unhomed pets in our area. I gave one to my other cat, Lucky, and when Chance snuck a few bites, I didn’t think much of it.
But then I realized... he hadn’t thrown up.
The next day, I fed them again. Same thing. Chance went straight for the Weruva, and again, no vomiting. Not only did he keep it down, but he was excited to eat. He wasn’t just tolerating his food anymore, he loved it, unlike any other brand I tried in the past. WOW!!!!
He started gaining healthy weight, and the asthma attacks? Gone. I’ve only seen one very mild one since we made the switch, and that was early on. He’s now a bundle of energy, racing through the house like a little tornado. We actually yell “No, Chance!!” constantly because he’s always into something. He bites scissors, swats measuring tape, steals rubber bands and Q-Tips, knocks over plants, and terrorizes his sister Lucky with his zoomies. He has become our little Dennis the Menace, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Chance seems to be 100% better and your food has made him into a super cat.
